The UPPC Innovation Hub is a dynamic center of excellence dedicated to advancing innovation in printing, publishing, and information management. Through initiatives such as the Print School and the Archiving Centre, the Hub empowers Ugandans with practical skills, fosters creativity, and safeguards the nation’s documentary heritage. It serves as a collaborative space where technology, learning, and preservation meet to drive Uganda’s knowledge economy forward.
Impact
The UPPC Innovate Hub enhances Uganda’s human capital by equipping youth and professionals with practical skills in printing, publishing, and digital archiving. It creates employment opportunities, fosters entrepreneurship, and promotes innovation-driven productivity. By strengthening the country’s capacity to produce and preserve its own information resources, the Hub supports import substitution, national documentation, and knowledge-based economic growth. In the long term, it contributes to inclusive development through skills empowerment, improved service delivery, and preservation of Uganda’s cultural and institutional heritage.
