Mobile computer labs for Digital literacy
Description
90% of the rural schools in uganda lack the financial capacity to setup and own their own computer labs, tech reach africa uses mobile computer labs to empower learners and teachers from such schools with hands on digital skills so they are able to integrate ICT in their search for both educational and employment opportunities. From one school to another, we move our laptops spreading access to digital tools and skills.
Impact
Through our mobile computer labs, we equip school dropouts and graduates with hands on digital skills in website design and development, graphics design and video and photo editing so they can use these skills to start their own tech based businesses or get an employment to provide such services to a company or organisations, our innovations is largely rooted in the use of mobile computer labs as an option to the traditional computer labs that require a lot of resources to setup.
