Description

Omni Gym is a HealthTech company that enables people and companies access multiple fitness facilities across Africa simultaneously under one membership and at the literal price of one facility. This means one can use any gym of their convenience at that time and a different one the next day as though they are members of both. It employs Artificial Intelligence, app platforms and geospatial technologies to provide this stellar service. It is the largest network of gyms in Sub Saharan Africa serving several multinationals and large corporate companies across East Africa.

Impact

According to World Health Organization, every year 42 million people die due to lifestyle diseases across the globe which represents 71% of deaths. These diseases costs low and medium economies over $ 7 trillion in lost productivity and as per Ministry of Health, these preventable diseases represent 50% of the health spend for the average Ugandan family. It is also known that 80% of corporate workers will face these diseases at some point yet they are the largest contributors to the economic development of the country.
