We manufacture solar irrigation pumps from recycled material supporting drought-affected small-scale farmers.
Impact
Our solar water pumps have made a real difference in the lives of smallholder farmers across Uganda. By giving farmers an affordable and reliable way to irrigate their gardens, they can now grow crops all year round instead of depending only on rain. This has helped families increase their harvests, earn more income, and improve their food security. Beyond farming, the innovation has created jobs for young people and women who help to make, sell, and install the pumps. Because the pumps are made from recycled materials, they also help reduce waste and protect the environment. Many farmers who used to spend a lot on fuel for diesel pumps now save money and use it for other family needs. In short, Nature Now solar water pumps are helping communities grow stronger, greener, and more self-reliant.
