The Community Green Action for Sustainable Rural Ecosystems (CGASRE) project, led by Greenfish Youth Initiative, works to restore rural ecosystems and promote sustainable green practices. It addresses deforestation, soil erosion, biodiversity loss, and poor waste management through tree planting, agroforestry, climate education, and eco-friendly livelihoods like composting, reuse, beekeeping, and eco-tourism. By engaging youth, women, and local leaders, CGASRE builds resilient communities and ensures long-term environmental sustainability.

Impact

The innovation has a significant socio-economic impact by creating new job opportunities, improving livelihoods, and enhancing community resilience. It promotes sustainable income sources and reduces poverty through environmentally friendly practices and skills development.
