Kite industries Limited is looking at alternative products other than chocolates that can be made from cocoa beans and are marketable as essential products for human use. Most of the products from cocoa beans e.g. chocolate are regarded as luxury good and can only be afforded by only rich people whose percentage is small

Impact

The impact created is provision of sustainable market for cocoa farmers as well as developing alternative products for use. This will help in import substitution, enhancing job creation and volarisation of the waste from the cocoa pods
