Tourism Water Mineral Development Climate & Environment Prototype
Description

Our innovation uses satellite images, artificial intelligence (AI), and GIS technology to monitor environmental changes like deforestation and water pollution in real time. It helps communities report issues using geotagged photos through a mobile app. The system then analyzes and visualizes this data to support quick response and better decision-making. This empowers local people, government, and organizations to protect natural resources more effectively.

Impact

The innovation empowers communities with real-time environmental data through satellite and AI-powered monitoring, enabling early detection of deforestation and water pollution. It promotes environmental accountability, supports sustainable land use, and enhances climate resilience. Socioeconomically, it creates green jobs in data collection and analysis, builds local capacity through training, and strengthens decision-making for policymakers and conservation partners. By involving communities in reporting and monitoring, it fosters inclusive participation and drives both ecological protection and economic empowerment.

Target Audience

1. Local communities – who gain access to tools for environmental monitoring and reporting, empowering them to protect their natural resources. 2. Government and regulatory agencies – who use the data for evidence-based decision-making, policy enforcement, and sustainable planning. 3. Environmental NGOs and conservation groups – who benefit from reliable data to support their interventions. 4. Youth and tech enthusiasts – who gain skills and employment opportunities in GIS, AI, and environmental data analysis. 5. Researchers and academics – who can access environmental datasets for studies and innovation.
